Social Slant: Twitter reacts to Auburn's narrow win over Ole Miss

It was a game Auburn almost certainly had to have. And in the end, the Tigers pulled it out.

Fighting back after falling behind late in the second half, Auburn finished off scrappy Ole Miss 78-74 on Wednesday night at Neville Arena.

With the win, the Tigers improve to 19-9 overall, 9-6 in the SEC.

Guard Wendell Green Jr. led Auburn with 23 points. Three other Tigers scored in double figures, including forward Johni Broome, who had 19 points and eight boards.

The Auburn family was particularly pleased with the play of Green, who came up big late in the second half after the Tigers fell behind by as many as four. Broome also was clutch down the stretch.
