Clemson missed out on its first goal of the 2021 season — winning the opener — when the Tigers lost to Georgia a couple of weeks ago in Charlotte.

The next goal for Clemson is to win the ACC Atlantic Division, and the Tigers can take their first step towards doing that Saturday afternoon against Georgia Tech.

Both teams enter the matchup 1-1, having lost their openers and then bouncing back last week.

Here’s everything you need to know as Clemson opens ACC play:

What to watch for

  • Clemson has won 29 straight home games, which is a school record and the longest active streak in the country.
  • Clemson is welcoming back members of the 1970, 1971, 1995, 1996, 2010,
2011, 2015 and 2016 teams for the game. It is also Family Weekend at Clemson.

  • The Tigers can improve to 53-3 against ACC opponents since the start of the 2015 season with a victory.
  • The Clemson defense has a chance to keep opponents out of the end zone in three straight games for the first time since 1990.
