CLEMSON — Dabo Swinney said on his Sunday teleconference that Clemson’s offensive line has been like “musical chairs” this season.

The Tigers will be down a starter once again Saturday against Pitt.

Clemson center Hunter Rayburn will be out against the Panthers as he is in COVID-19 protocol. Rayburn entered protocol Friday prior to Clemson’s game at Syracuse.

Mason Trotter started in his place and had a solid night, although he did have a costly snap that went over DJ Uiagalelei’s head.

Clemson has used three different starting centers this season. Matt Bockhorst started the season at center, before Rayburn played center against Boston College and the Tigers offensive line had its best game of the year.

Trotter then played for Rayburn this past Friday. The o-line as a whole had issues, but Trotter was far from the biggest problem.
