The complete 2023 Clemson football schedule was released on the ACC Network Monday night.

We already knew who Clemson would be playing this coming season, but we now know what order the games will be played in.

This is the first year that the ACC is going away from divisions and will instead use a 3-5-5 scheduling model.

Clemson will play Florida State, Georgia Tech and NC State every year and will rotate other opponents. This year’s other ACC opponents include Duke, Syracuse, Wake Forest, Miami and North Carolina.

The Tigers will begin the season at Duke on Monday, Sept. 4. This will be the second consecutive year that Clemson will open the season on Labor Day, after the Tigers played Georgia Tech in Atlanta in 2022.

Other big-time matchups for the 2023 season include vs. Florida State on Sept. 23, at Miami on Oct. 21, at NC State on Oct. 28, vs. Notre Dame on Nov. 4 and at South Carolina on Nov. 25.

Clemson is looking to get back to the College Football Playoff in 2023 after missing out on the CFP each of the past two years.

Still, the Tigers did win the ACC championship for the seventh time in eight years in 2022 and also won at least 10 games for the 12th consecutive year.

On a disappointing note, Clemson did lose to all three non-ACC Power 5 teams it faced.

The Tigers have a chance to avenge two of those losses this year when they host Notre Dame and play at South Carolina

The Gamecocks snapped Clemson’s 40-game home winning streak in November and kept the Tigers out of the College Football Playoff.

Clemson QB Cade Klubnik will get his first shot at South Carolina this season, as he is taking over for California native DJ Uiagalelei, who transferred to Oregon State this offseason.
