Clemson had a pair of commits play in Saturday’s Shrine Bowl all-star game in Spartanburg.

Receiver Tyler Brown and running back Jarvis Green helped the South Carolina squad to a 17-13 win Saturday afternoon.

Brown, who attends Greenville High, had only one reception in the game but it was a big one as it went for a 55-yard touchdown in the third quarter to give SC a 10-7 lead.

Brown caught a pass over the middle and showed off his speed breaking free and into the end zone.

The Greenville High product committed to Clemson last month, choosing the Tigers after previously being committed to Minnesota.

Brown is rated as a four-star prospect and the No. 42 receiver in the country, according to On3. The On3 rankings have him as the No. 294 overall player in the country.

The On3 Consensus rankings have Brown as a three-star prospect and the No. 114 receiver nationally.

As for Green, he led the South Carolina team in rushing, finishing with 15 carries for 58 yards and a touchdown.

Green’s TD run came with 4:40 left in the game and ended up being the game-winning score.

The Dutch Fork star also caught 3 passes for 8 yards in the game.

Prior to the Shrine Bowl, Green led Dutch Fork to a state title, rushing for 2,272 yards and 33 touchdowns as a senior.

Green was previously a James Madison commit, but he has always called Clemson his dream school.

He finally received an offer from the Tigers on Dec. 8 and committed to Clemson less than a week later.

Green is ranked as a three-star recruit, the No. 51 running back in the country and the No. 16 player in the state of South Carolina, according to On3.

The On3 Consensus rankings also have him as a three-star recruit. He is the No. 67 running back and No. 931 overall player in the country according to the consensus rankings.

Signing Day is Wednesday, and Clemson currently has 25 commits and the No. 10 recruiting class in the country.
