Clemson quarterback target Walker White is down to a final three schools, he announced on Thursday.

White, who visited Clemson last weekend, will choose between Clemson, Auburn and Baylor, he revealed.

The four-star quarterback is set to announce his choice on Friday.

He spoke with On3’s Hayes Fawcett about why Clemson made his top group.

“They were really inviting and very welcoming. Everything I saw Clemson was just so impressive from the coaching staff, to facilities, to their core values,” White said. “I really enjoyed my visit on their junior day and really enjoyed getting to spend time around Coach Swinney and the rest of the staff.”

White is ranked as a four-star prospect and the No. 13 quarterback in the country, according to the On3 consensus rankings. He is viewed as the No. 165 overall player in the country for the class of 2024.

On3’s recruiting prediction machine gives the Tigers a 68 percent chance of landing White.

The Arkansas native told On3’s Sam Spiegelman that he loved his recent trip to Clemson.

“It went amazing,” White said. “It was very cool. I really enjoyed being with the coaches. They all showed outstanding hospitality and I got to meet their families. I have been looking forward to this visit for a while. And even since last time I was at Clemson, it only got better.”

If White does commit to Clemson, he would join a quarterbacks room that already has two highly-rated QBs in Cade Klubnik and Christopher Vizzina.

Klubnik is entering his sophomore season at Clemson after signing with the Tigers as a five-star quarterback in the class of 2022.

The Texas native made one start this past season, getting the nod in the Orange Bowl against Tennessee after taking over as the top QB for DJ Uiagalelei in the ACC championship game.

Klubnik finished his freshman season with 697 passing yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions. He completed 61 percent of his passes and also rushed for 139 yards and two scores.

Vizzina just arrived on campus after signing with the Tigers in December.

The Alabama native is ranked as the No. 8 quarterback and No. 86 overall player in the country, according to the On3 consensus rankings.

Klubnik, Vizzina and potentially White will be playing for a new offensive coordinator as Brandon Streeter was fired this offseason. Streeter was replaced by Garrett Riley, who helped TCU reach the national title game this past season.
