LOOK: Gators QB Anthony Richardson has bulletin board material in his new locker

Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson has received plenty of offseason hype, but he’s not letting the first-round projections and Cam Newton comparisons go to his head.
In fact, Richardson is keeping his doubters in mind every day.
When the Gators moved into their $85 million football facility on Sunday, Richardson brought some bulletin board material with him. In the picture below, Richardson is sitting in his new locker with laminated posters of the “Top 4 SEC Quarterbacks.”
The QBs are Alabama’s Bryce Young, South Carolina’s Spencer Rattler, Mississippi State’s Will Rogers and Kentucky’s Will Levis. It’s unclear which media outlet the rankings came from, but they certainly got Richardson’s attention — and motivation.
UF coach Billy Napier has been impressed with Richardson’s play in training camp.
“With Anthony, there’s no question that his confidence and comfort level with the verbiage and the communication, I think he’s more concise. And we’ve seen him be much more accurate,” UF coach Billy Napier said last week. “You know the old adage, we’re on the same page? I think we’re making progress to being on the same sentence, if that makes sense.
“I think his feet are in the right place because he’s processing quicker. He’s able to anticipate the balls going to the right place. So, very pleased with Anthony and where he’s at. I think he’s getting more comfortable in that leadership role. And the things that come with being the quarterback of the University of Florida.”
