Florida Gators 2024 football schedule kickoff times announced
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Mark your calendars for the fall because the Florida Gators have kickoff times for all 12 regular season games. On Tuesday, the Southeastern Conference announced the kickoff times windows and TV designations for the entire league and the Gators will be featured prominently.
The Gators already knew kickoff times for their first three games against Miami, Samford, and Texas A&M, as well as their annual date with the Georgia Bulldogs in Jacksonville. Now, we know the Gators will also be featured on ABC or ESPN for at least six of their 12 games.
The Gators will get their first true night game in the Swamp when the UCF Knights come to town on October 5. Games at Tennessee and home against Kentucky and LSU will either been in the 3:30 slot or a night kickoff as well.
A lot has been made of the Gators’ schedule this season. Florida will play 11 Power 5 teams this year including home games against the Miami Hurricanes and UCF Knights. Florida Athletic Director Scott Stricklin was asked about the schedule at the SEC Meetings in Destin.
“This season is not about our schedule,” Stricklin said. “It’s about the Gators, and if the Gators are being the Gators, we’re going to be alright.”

Stricklin told On3’s Jesse Simonton that Florida had the expanded 12-team College Football Playoff in mind when the 2024 schedule was put in place.
He noted the Gators played both Florida State and Miami back in 2019, too. And the decision to add UCF this year?
“They weren’t in the Big 12 when we made the schedule, so that’s one we might’ve handled differently,” Stricklin said.
