Georgia has recruited Grimsley (Greensboro, N.C.) EDGE Bryce Davis heavily for over a year now and it looks like that effort could pay off soon per the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. Davis made it known on Tuesday that he will make his college choice on July 20 and the Bulldogs currently have a commanding lead in the RPM.

Georgia is currently in possession of 81.5 percent of the predictive feature. Clemson is second with 5.5 percent with Duke holding percent and South Carolina at 2.4 percent. Clemson and Duke are in Davis’ final three along with UGA.

Davis is planning to take official visits before he commits to the school of his choice. He will visit Clemson on May 31 and Georgia will get its chance to host him on June 14. As of right now there is no visit set to Duke but Davis could set one of those up rather easily considering it is the closest program to home.

Georgia hosted Davis for an unofficial visit late last summer. He was on campus for the final weekend in July. Then the Bulldogs got him back on campus for a game in October. Davis was back in Athens in January of 2024.

At 6-foot-2.5 245 pounds, Davis is the nation’s No. 62 overall prospect in the 2025 class per the On3 Industry Ranking, a weight-averaged of all four recruiting sites that publish recruiting rankings. He is the No. 8 EDGE in America and the No. 5 player in North Carolina.

Georgia is undoubtedly enamored with Davis’ film but his length is also a big factor. While he’s not 6-foot-4-plus and doesn’t have the frame that most schools prioritize, Davis’ arms are 35 inches long and he has a wingspan of 6-foot-11.

The Bulldogs currently have the nation’s No. 8-ranked recruiting class for the 2025 cycle. They have one EDGE prospect committed in four-star prospect Darren Ikinnagbon (Hillside; Hillside N.J.). Georgia currently has just three defensive commitments for the class.
