Five-star Georgia target Isaiah Gibson back on market
One of Georgia’s top targets in the 2025 class is back on the market. Warner Robins (Warner Robins, Ga.) EDGE Isaiah Gibson has de-committed from USC according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Gibson gave his pledge to the Trojans back in March.
“The opportunities that USC has on and off the field were big, for sure,” he told On3’s Chad Simmons at the time. “It was my first time in California, and I like that they have my major [business real estate]. I feel like I could thrive inside and outside of football, and it was just the right decision.”
Since that time he has taken multiple visits, both official and unofficial. Gibson has been to Florida, Florida State, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia. He took his official visit to Athens on May 31 before traveling to South Carolina on June 7, Auburn on June 10, and Tennessee on June 14. He’s expected at Ohio State for an official visit tomorrow and will wrap things up with a trip to Oklahoma on June 21.
At 6-foot-3 263 pounds, Gibson is ranked as the No. 27 overall prospect in the country according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average the includes all four websites that publish recruiting ratings. He’s the nation’s No. 1 EDGE prospect and the No. 7 player in Georgia.

Georgia is the team to beat according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. The Bulldogs hold 49.7 percent with USC sitting a close second at 43.2 percent. South Carolina has 1.5 percent while Auburn and Oklahoma have less than one percent.
“Personally, I feel like nowhere in the country matches UGA. UGA is probably the number one school in the country in every single category. They check every box, no Xs, no red boxes, no nothing,” he told DawgsHQ’s Palmer Thombs late last month at the On3 Elite. “I would say this (official visit to UGA) would be a ‘make or make it’ for UGA. Not make or break, it’s a double hitter.”
