Kirby Smart is proud of his defense - but he isn't trying to change College Football

Yes, Kirby Smart is a big defense guy. Played in it. Coached in it. Learned from one of the best doing it. And, yes - that 2022 NFL Draft sent a lot of Georgia defensive players to professional football teams. Five went in the first round. No school produced like that before Georgia did it this year. So it's easy for outsiders to look at those numbers, look at Kirby Smart's background, and add up some apples and oranges.
