Michigan State has waited a long time for an opportunity to start erasing the bad taste from a 5-7 season in 2022. With the regular season here, the Spartans will be looking to put their best foot forward against a CMU ballclub that typically plays up in this series. Michigan State has added depth and talent on defense and has a front seven that should it improve against the run. Can the Spartan defense set the tone in the opener and put a young Michigan State offense in a position to be successful?
