ANN ARBOR, MI – Champions Circle™, the Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) “collective” supporting University of Michigan student-athletes, today announced that it has launched a new campaign, the “Those Who Stay” NIL campaign, to retain key Michigan student-athletes amid a landscape where other schools are constantly trying to induce Michigan football players to change schools.

Champions Circle™ Co-Founder, CEO of Valiant Management Group, and Michigan Football alum Jared Wangler said, “To continue the success that Michigan Football has had the last several years, we need the resources to retain our student-athletes who are not only talented but great ambassadors of the program and university. The whole Michigan family has to step up now and show every one of these student-athletes how much we appreciate them and want them back for the 2024 season.”

The ‘Those Who Stay” Campaign comes on the heels of the first 14-0 season in Michigan football history. Michigan plays Washington in the National Championship game January 8th. Michigan has many great young student-athletes returning on both sides of the ball. Next year, the Big Ten will be even more competitive, with Washington, USC, UCLA and Oregon joining the conference.

“We are all thrilled that Michigan is back but we can’t take anything for granted if we want to win in 2024. That means getting our key student-athletes back and competing in the era of NIL and transfer portal for however long this craziness lasts. This is the reality of college football today. Michigan must have the resources to compete and win,” said Wangler. “That’s why the ‘Those Who Stay Campaign’ is so important.”

Michigan is lagging several programs — teams like Texas, Oregon, and the SEC schools are at the forefront, but Notre Dame’s donations far outweigh U-M’s, and even schools like Kentucky and Louisville are way out front. To contribute, click here:
