ESPN.com’s Adam Rittenberg broke down the most interesting quarterback rooms in the country heading into spring practices. Michigan was among the group, and Rittenberg made a prediction that the Wolverines’ Week 1 starter will be “transfer TBA.”

“Michigan has to aggressively monitor the portal and can offer a lot to experienced transfers who fit [offensive coordinator Kirk] Campbell and [head coach Sherrone] Moore‘s vision on offense. Perhaps Tuttle takes a significant step — he has appeared in games in each of the past five seasons for Indiana or Michigan — or the team gets a surge from [juniors Jayden] Denegal or [Alex] Orji,” Rittenberg wrote. “But I suspect Michigan’s QB1 for 2024 isn’t on campus yet.”

Michigan’s national championship is on display at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta.

Michigan basketball takes on Nebraska Sunday at Crisler Center in the final regular season game of the season. It’s also the final home game for several seniors and graduates. The scholarship players U-M will honor in a pregame ceremony are senior forward Terrance Williams II, graduate guard Jaelin Llewellyn and graduate guard Nimari Burnett.

Quote Of The Day

“For them to sustain, I think just keep on doing what they’re doing, keep recruiting the same kids that they’re recruiting. We don’t get 15 five-star guys; we get a select few guys that are going to come in and work extremely hard and be tough as nails and play with pride and play as a team. When your running back is on the ground, you better run over there and pick him up. If there’s your teammate on the other sideline, you better go over there and escort him off the sideline. And I think they’re going to keep that stuff going. With Coach Moore at the helm and the rest of the coaches they got, I know they’re going to keep that tradition going.”
