Michigan football grabbed a hard-fought 34-27 victory over Maryland on Saturday afternoon in the Big Ten opener, moving to 4-0 on the season. It was not the romp some expected it to be, but we finally saw Michigan have to fight through some adversity.

The Wolverine’s Anthony Broome and former Michigan defensive end Ryan Van Bergen break down the victory and goes through the biggest takeaways, as well as taking fan questions throughout the program. This week’s topics include:

– Surviving Maryland’s scare

– J.J. McCarthy gets a tougher test, how did he do?

– Figuring out the offensive identity

– Thoughts on the playcalling

– Defensive concerns

– How good is Maryland, really?

– Your questions and more
