Michigan football's offense key in taking next step in College Football Playoff

Michigan football was able to score 45 points in its Fiesta Bowl loss to TCU, but still found a way to leave points on the field. In a few ugly cases, the offense gifted points to the Horned Frogs directly. That was alarming coming from a team that had limited mistakes all season, especially in big moments.
