While most of the visiting Michigan recruits who arrived last weekend to watch practice showed up on Saturday because of the session being rescheduled, there were two Rhode Island standouts tha the facilities and met with the coaching staff the day prior. Along with top 2025 wide receiver target David Rodriguez, his 7v7 club teammate, Israel Hiraldo, the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2024 class native to Rhode Island, made his debut in Ann Arbor before spending the entire weekend in the state of Michigan to take part in a tournament.
