“Will Johnson Enjoyer” on Twitter/X dropped ‘the greatest video in Michigan football history,’ showing its 2023 national championship climb. The video displays the doubters the Wolverines had along the way to finishing 15-0.

Michigan nickel back prospect Mike Sainristil is one of ESPN analyst Jordan Reid’s “favorite prospects in this draft class.” Reid ranks him the No. 40 overall player. He shared a video of his five-play snapshot scouting report, adding on Sainristil: “A+ football IQ, physical and playmaker.”

Michigan will have a star-studded visitors weekend.

Michigan offered Kent State defensive tackle transfer CJ West.

A 6-foot-2, 315-pounder, West has also received offers from Texas A&M, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Colorado, Kansas State, Miami (Fla.), Rutgers, Indiana and LSU since entering the NCAA transfer portal April 16.

West spent four years at Kent State and has one year of eligibility remaining. He’s the No. 16 overall player and second-best defensive lineman among uncommitted prospects in the transfer portal, according to On3’s Rankings.

The Kent State standout has a connection with Michigan, having played high school football with former U-M quarterback J.J. McCarthy and current junior wide receiver Tyler Morris at La Grange Park (Ill.) Nazareth Academy.

West is coming off a standout 2023 season for the Golden Flashes, having registered 40 tackles, including 7 behind the line of scrimmage and 2 sacks, with 4 quarterback hurries and 1 forced fumble.

Michigan senior wide receiver Cristian Dixon entered the transfer portal Wednesday, becoming the first Wolverine to do so since the portal opened Tuesday. Dixon entered as a graduate. He had just 1 catch in three seasons with the Maize and Blue.

Michigan forward transfer Tarris Reed Jr. has found a new home with the two-time defending national champion UConn Huskies.

Quote Of The Day

“He’s ridiculously detail-oriented and cerebral and thinks things through, so just definitely a lot of trust right off the bat with that. One of our first conversations that we had was about that fit. The first thing he emphasized was every year is different, so just always being flexible and kind of fitting into the strength of who are best player’s gonna be and what the strengths of those guys around him are, is how we’re gonna ultimately be more successful.”
