Michigan football has clarity on its 2024 and 2025 schedules.

The Big Ten has announced its scheduling model and opponents for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. The conference will still play nine league games but did away with divisions. The two top teams will meet in the Big Ten championship game.

Below are Michigan’s opponents for 2024 (with the non-conference having already been set).

Non-conference: vs. Fresno State, vs. Texas, vs. Arkansas State

Home: Maryland, Michigan State, Minnesota, UCLA, Wisconsin

Away: Illinois, Ohio State, Rutgers, USC

Michigan graduate left guard Trevor Keegan will be featured on episode two of ‘Those Who Stay,’ and he discussed his decision to stay in college rather than go pro in the short clip shown below.

“I love to win,” Keegan said. “I’m very competitive, and if you’re playing this game and you’re not winning, it’s not worth it. My decision to return was because I just want to win a national championship.

“My parent both worked really hard to get me where I am. They showed me the blue collar mentality, care for others, to do everything the right way. And for me, I’m just personally self-drive. I feel like all that combined, you’re going to be successful in life.”

Keegan was a first-team All-Big Ten selection by the coaches last season, and also earned a second-team nod by the media. He’s started 23 career games at left guard.

Yesterday marked 86 days until the Michigan football season. With that, here are some highlights of U-M great Mario Manningham.

Quote Of The Day

“One of the things about Michigan is the fact that he loves meeting with Coach (Ben) Herbert and the nutritionist, Ms. Abigail (O’Connor). They are two of Brian’s favorite people. But on this particular official visit, I think it was him and Coach (Mike) Elston getting the opportunity to bond. Brian spends a lot of time with Coach Dylan (Roney), spends a lot of time with Coach (Jesse) Minter and spends a lot of time with Coach (Steve) Clinkscale. But Coach Elston was the one who Brian has spent less time with.”
