NC State surged through the back half of the regular season and the Raleigh Regional to set up this moment in the Athens Super Regional: Winner advances to Omaha.  NC State, the No. 10 national seed, took the opening game of the weekend in an 18-1 fashion before Georgia, the No. 7 seed, won handedly in Game 2 via an 11-2 win.
