Diamond reset: Looking at NC State baseball with the home stretch of ACC play left

NC State baseball has reached the homestretch of its ACC schedule with six league series down and four to play before next month’s conference tournament in Charlotte. The Wolfpack sits at 20-14 (10-8 ACC) this season, which puts the squad third in the Atlantic Division behind Clemson and Florida State. NC State is just one game better than Wake Forest and is at least 1.5 games clear of Louisville, Boston College and Notre Dame in the standings.  With the Pack’s pivotal weekend series against North Carolina, the team at the top of the Coastal Division, on tap before it faces Florida State, Virginia and Wake Forest to close the league schedule, here’s a look at where NC State stands at the middle of the ACC slate.
