When NC State returned to the hardwood after a 11-day holiday break, DJ Horne’s three-point shooting stroke did not pick up where it left off. He went from being one of the hottest marksmen in the country to just four made triples in a three-game span.  Something had to give, right? Well, the graduate guard knew it was going to eventually flip, so he did what he has always done: a 30-minute shooting routine at the Dail Basketball Center.  Horne, a well-traveled scorer, picked up this half an hour drill at Illinois State, where he spent his first two years of college basketball. It starts with mid-range shots, starting inside one corner of the three-point arc and working his way around the circumference of it with 10 to 15 shots at each spot.  After Horne is happy with how that went, he backs up to three-point distance and repeats the process. In all, the guard launches 200 shots to keep his shooting form — and mindset — at peak performance.
