NC State football commits in action: Week 6

NC State’s 2024 and 2025 football commits have all officially kicked off their respective high school seasons. Linebacker Joshua Ofor starred during his first game as a Wolfpack commit, and quarterbacks Cedrick Bailey Jr. and Will Wilson both stood out as well.

Three-star defensive lineman Josh Alexander-Felton

Orlando (Fla.) Edgewater High

Last game: Josh Alexander-Felton recorded 10 total tackles, and Edgewater High shut out Apopka (Fla.) High 27-0 to remain undefeated.

Season stats: Over his past 4 games, Alexander-Felton has recorded 41 total tackles (4 solo), 6 for loss, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble and 1 interception.

Four-star wide receiver Terrell Anderson

Greensboro (N.C.) Grimsley High

Last game: Terrell Anderson hauled in 5 passes for 101 yards and 1 touchdown, and Grimsley defeated Greensboro (NC) Northwest Guilford 48-14.

Season stats: 23 catches for 376 yards and 5 touchdowns, 3 kickoff returns for an average of 40.7 yards and 2 punt returns for 52 yards, 568 all-purpose yards.

Three-star quarterback Cedrick Bailey Jr.

Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep

Last game: During a matchup against nationally ranked Miami (Fla.) Central High, Cedrick Bailey Jr. completed 28 of 41 passes for 321 yards, 4 touchdowns and 1 interception. He also rushed for 39 yards on 4 carries.

Season stats: 100-of-144 passing for 1,193 passing yards, 15 touchdowns and 4 interceptions, plus 95 yards rushing, 13 carries, 1 touchdown.

Norcross (Ga.) Meadowcreek High

Last game: Jivan Baly and Meadowcreek lost 34-12 to Suwanee (Ga.) Peachtree Ridge High.

Season stats: Through 4 games, Baly recorded 14 tackles (11 solo and 2 for loss) and 2 interceptions. Offensively, 12 receptions for 142 yards and 1 touchdown.

Three-star safety Brody Barnhardt

Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day School

Last game: Brody Barnhardt made 10 total tackles (7 solo) during a 59-21 win over Arden (NC) Christ School. He also recorded a quarterback hurry, carried the ball twice for 17 yards, returned 2 kickoffs 77 yards and 1 punt 9 yards.

Season stats: 48 total tackles (26 solo and 1 for loss), 3 quarterback hurries, 1 defended pass and 1 interception on defense and also 12 carries for 123 yards and a 2 touchdowns, 7 kickoff returns for an average of 26.7 yards, 4 punt returns for an average of 10.3 yards and 2 receptions for 6 yards.

Massillon (Ohio) Washington High

Last game: Chase Bond and Massillon continued its undefeated start to the year with a 41-7 win over Middletown (DE) High.

Season stats: Through 4 games, Bond had 8 tackles, including 6 for loss and 1 sack, 8 quarterback pressures and 1 pass deflection.

Anderson (S.C.) Westside High

Last game: Jimmar Boston and Westside defeated Greer (SC) High 56-42.

Season stats: Boston is dealing with an upper body injury and is playing mostly defense as a result. Going into this game, he recorded 1 reception for 1 yard, 17 kick return yards and 10 total tackles (5 solo).
