NC State guard LJ Thomas enters transfer portal

NC State is preparing for the NCAA tournament, but sophomore guard LJ Thomas won’t be with the team in Pittsburgh.
He entered the transfer portal Monday, the first day it was open for college basketball players. Thomas is the first NC State player to do so and he has been away from the team for at least the past week.

The Plant City, Fla., native played in 30 games a year ago with the Wolfpack. He averaged 2.4 points with 2.1 rebounds and 0.5 assists during his freshman season.
