NC State had three players receive ACC Player of the Week awards after the Wolfpack’s 39-20 win over North Carolina this past weekend, the team’s fifth straight victory.

Graduate quarterback Brennan Armstrong was named the league’s signal-caller of the week for the second straight contest after he was 22-of-31 passing for 334 yards and three touchdowns.

The Virginia transfer also ran for another 22 yards on the ground, which set a new NC State quarterback single-season rushing record for 544 yards this season. Armstrong broke Jacoby Brissett’s record mark from the 2014 season (529 yards).

Freshman wide receiver Kevin Concepcion took home two awards: ACC Rookie of the Week and Wide Receiver of the Week. The Charlotte, N.C., native caught seven passes for 131 yards and two touchdowns against the Tar Heels. He also added 55 rushing yards on 11 carries.

Concepcion became the only player in the FBS with 750-plus receiving yards and 250-plus rushing yards this season.

Graduate linebacker Payton Wilson rounded out the trio with the ACC Linebacker of the Week award after he paced the Pack with 15 total tackles with two tackles for a loss, a sack, an interception and a forced fumble against North Carolina. It is the star defender’s fifth weekly honor from the league this season.
