We’ve saved the best for last in our Better or Worse series, previewing the 2023 season. Today we conclude with the quarterbacks. Penn State’s talented but unproven batch of young faces take center stage for a team that has its College Football Playoff hopes pinned to the chest of one first-time starter. Drew Allar is expected to take the mantel from former starter Sean Clifford this fall in his much-anticipated debut.  So, will the former five-star quarterback be better or worse than Clifford in his first season under center? We’ll do some digging to try and predict where that lies.
