Assessing The Penn State Class Of 2025 Before Official Visits

The Penn State Nittany Lions recruiting class of 2025 is halfway filled, heading into a critical stretch of official visits in June. While we wait for the flurry of activity this summer, we’re resetting the class on today’s BWI Live Recruiting Show. What’s happened to get Penn State to this point so far? Where does this group stack up to the standard the recruiting staff has set over time?

Recruiting insider Ryan Snyder is here to discuss that and the latest news from the Penn State football recruiting trail. Join the show at 10 am on YouTube, or check out the show embedded in this article.

Penn State playing the waiting game?

The Blue-White Game has come and gone with no additional commitments to the program. With April finishing up official visits starting at the end of next month, what is the recruiting staff up to? Snyder discusses what Penn State head coach James Franklin and his staff are up to this time of year and the next landmarks for recruiting. Are we all collectively waiting for official visits for the next phase of movement?

We’ll discuss that, plus the latest Penn State recruiting news from the past week.

Where the class needs to make up ground

Earlier this week, Snyder outlined where he thinks that the staff needs to make up ground in this cycle. Which positions stand out? We’ll discuss the differences in these positions compared to the rest of the assembled 12-person class.

Speaking of that class, we’ll do a quick reset on the group of committed players. With a large chunk of the class committing early in the process, it’s a good time to remind Penn State fans which players the team already has in the room.

More official visits scheduled

Finally, Snyder has been working hard to confirm which players plan to visit Penn State this summer for official visits. He’s confirmed several new players, including wide receiver Corey Simms, defensive lineman Yvan Kemajou, cornerback Graceson Littleon and tight end Brody Lennon. Learn more about those players and their stories on today’s show.
