That's the environment that freshman quarterback Christian Veilleux entered into on Saturday. After a rough first series that included a fumbled snap, Veilleux showed that the moment was not too big for him. The freshman from Canada operated the offense with ease, controlling the flow of the offense pre-snap, making play and protection adjustments. His work and a reshuffled offensive line are the primary reasons Rutgers didn't get home despite sending pressure on 40% of Veilleux's drop backs.
