We’re less than a week away from Penn State taking on Purdue in the opening game of the 2022 season. Even though college football already started with Week 0, Penn State fans still have to wait a few more days to see their team take the field. After covering, discussing, and analyzing everything for eight solid months, my anticipation has reached a similar fever pitch for things to kick off against the Boilermakers on Sept. 1.  With that in mind, I’ve compiled a list of the four players I am most excited to see play. These aren’t the most important players, nor are they necessarily the most critical for success on Thursday night. Instead, they’re four players that I’m the most curious about because of what they represent. Each is integral to the 2022 season, with very little or no previous film.
