Penn State football had its first player selected in the 2024 NFL Draft with left tackle Olu Fashanu going to the New York Jets with the 11th overall selection. Fashanu joins the Jets to protect the blind side of future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers while the Jets push all their chips into the table to chase a playoff berth and Super Bowl with the 40-year-old quarterback.
