ANN ARBOR, MI - OCTOBER 15: Michigan Wolverines linebacker Mike Morris (90) tackles Penn State Nittany Lions running back Nicholas Singleton (10) for a loss of yardage during a college football game on October 15, 2022 at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Michigan thoroughly outclassed Penn State football in a 41-17 defeat in Ann Arbor that feels eerily similar to every time head coach James Franklin and his team have traveled to the "Big House." Penn State has been outscored 150 to 47 when traveling to Michigan in non-covid years. The closest game came back in 2014 during Franklin's first season in Happy Valley when his squad lost 18-13.  It's a disturbing trend for the Lions faithful and one that was underscored on Saturday when Penn State entered Ann Arbor on a wave of optimism following a 5-0 start and coming off a bye. There's a consistent theme across all of the blowouts, which we'll highlight today when we take a look at the offensive film for the Nittany Lions.
