The Penn State defense bounced back from an embarrassing performance against Michigan in a big way this weekend. The Nittany Lion’s defenders held down the Minnesota offense long enough that the Penn State offense could get going on the way to a 45-17 drubbing of Minnesota.  How did they perform such a massive turnaround in one week? First, we’ll discuss the differences between Michigan and Minnesota, two run-heavy teams in today’s film study. We’ll also address the apparent deficiencies with which the Gophers entered the game.
