Penn State held Bowl Media Day on Friday, culminating in open practice later that evening. Blue White Illustrated was there to take in the event and provide insight into the team’s progress through bowl practice.  It was a fairly loose atmosphere during the ten minutes that we got to see inside Holuba Hall. The offense operated in its normal way, with position groups split across the East end of the practice field. New offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki floated between position groups, observing the coaches working with their players. The new offensive coordinator, who showed his vibrant and engaging personality took on a different role in the evening. He was a silent observer while at practice and was hard to notice, fading into the background of practice.
