The Penn State football program will welcome seven foes to Beaver Stadium this fall. Which game is the cheapest for fans to attend? And, who will cost you the most money to enter the home of the Nittany Lions this fall?

Secondary ticket markets are starting to see some movement as media days continue across the country while preseason camp nears. It makes now a good time to take a look at where ticket prices stand.

Penn State opens its home slate opposite the Ohio Bobcats on Sept. 10. It will also host Central Michigan during the non-conference slate. This year’s Big Ten visitors include Northwestern, Minnesota, Ohio State, Maryland, and Michigan State.

We went to StubHub to look at the cheapest ticket (with fees) for each contest, which is how we ranked the games below. There are also some “best deal” prices highlighted when applicable.

The Beaver Stadium seating chart at Penn State.

Sept. 10: Penn State vs. Ohio

Ohio is making its first trip to Beaver Stadium since it beats Penn State 24-14 back in 2012. The contest is set for Noon on ABC. As of July 21, the cheapest get-in fee is $46 for a seat in Section NAU, row 88. That, of course, puts you in the north end zone.

As for the deal of the day, two tickets are available for $104 in section WC, row 40, which is toward the south end zone on the 20-yard-line.

Nov. 26: Lions vs. Michigan State

Buying tickets early for the home game following Thanksgiving weekend can be a dicey proposition. On one hand, if the team is playing for a Big Ten East title or is in the mix for a New Year’s Six bowl, the seat you scooped up now could be worth a lot more by November. But, if things go awry, getting in closer to kickoff could be cheaper.

At any rate, the cheapest ticket right now for Penn State-Michigan State is $58 for Section NAU, row 80. As for a deal that caught our eye, a seat in section EC, row two is listed for $115. That would put you just off the Lions bench and up close and personal to the action on the field.

Sept. 24: Penn State vs. Central Michigan

The Chippewas of Central Michigan make only their second trek to Beaver Stadium at the end of September. Penn State won the only previous meeting, 40-3, back in 2005.

Right now, $58 will get you a seat in Section NJU, row 73.

Nov. 12: Lions vs. Maryland

The Terrapins visit Beaver Stadium for a game with fans for the first time since 2018 in mid-November. Like with Michigan State, how the prices change between now and then will entirely depend on what position Penn State is in five months from now.

As of July 21, the cheapest seat is $65 for Section NJU, row 65.

Oct. 1: Penn State vs. Northwestern

Penn State opens its Big Ten home slate to start October. The Wildcats visit for a matchup that does not yet have a start time. It marks Northwestern’s first trip to Beaver Stadium since 2014. Back then, the visitors won 29-6. But, all-time, the Lions hold a 14-5 advantage.

As for the most inexpensive get-in price right now, that is $85 for Section NCU, row 82. One ticket that caught our eye because it’s less than $100 more is a seat in Section WB, row 34, which puts you on the 10-yard-line of the south endzone.

Oct. 22: Lions vs. Minnesota

Did you think this year’s White Out game, which is also Homecoming and in primetime, was going to be the most expensive ticket on the list? Well, unsurprisingly, it’s not. But, it is right where it should be as the second-most expensive game to enter.

A seat in Section NFU, row 82 will currently run you $207. For solo travelers, it’s worth noting there is one ticket available on the 50-yard-line behind the Golden Gophers bench in section WE, Row E, for $301. Not bad to upgrade from high atop the north endzone to close to field level.

Oct. 29: Penn State vs. Ohio State

Surprise! Ohio State-Penn State is the most expensive Beaver Stadium ticket of the year on the secondary market. This should come as no surprise, of course. It’s always the case when the Buckeyes come to town.

StubHub currently lists the cheapest seat at $286 for Section NCU, row 70.
