One of Penn State’s most important defenders in 2022 was veteran safety Ji’Ayir Brown. The 5-11, 202-pound defensive back played several essential roles in the defense for first-year defensive coordinator Manny Diaz.  So, with such a huge void left in the defense’s back end, who steps up?
