This position has been dead silent from the Nittany Lions. So far, the only public interest Penn State has shown in a linebacker was UNLV transfer Jacoby Windmon, who declared for Michigan State three days after entering the portal at the beginning of December. Blue White Illustrated has heard that Penn State is primarily looking for a Mike linebacker. So finding a veteran player with plenty of starting experience who can command a defense would seem to be the key—cue On3's portal wizard Matt Zenitz.
