Penn State Football got a 38-15 win over the West Virginia Mountaineers on Saturday night in front of a sold out Beaver Stadium. There were plenty of surprises along the way, too. The Penn State offense, which we broke down earlier, was led by Drew Allar, and not the running game.  However, the biggest surprise might have been the Penn State defense. This elite unit didn't quite hit preseason expectations in week one despite only giving up seven points with the first-team defense. There were issues in gap control, pass rush contain, and more that we'll discuss in today's film session.
