Penn State football picked up a pair of tackles shortly after the Blue-White Game in April. The second commit, Eagan Boyer, is who we’re discussing today in T-Frank’s film room. The 6-8 260-pound commit out of Cornelius, NC, chose Penn State over several quality offers, including Clemson, Michigan, and Auburn.  What keeps Boyer from achieving a higher ranking despite his impressive offer sheet? He’s the 585th player in the On3 Industry ranking, the 38th overall tackle, and the 16th-ranked player in North Carolina. Additionally, no major recruiting service has him in their national player rankings. Today we’ll dive into his film to understand why teams are higher on him than the recruiting industry.
