What time, channel, are Penn State wrestling connections on and going for the U.S. Olympic Team?

Penn State wrestling will have a representative in five of six weight classes in tonight’s best-of-three U.S. Olympic Team Trial championships. The Nittany Lions, and their affiliated Nittany Lion Wrestling Club, had a strong first day on Friday at the Bryce Jordan Center. Numerous connections to both programs are alive in the consolation bracket, as well.

The finalists will have their first matches as part of the 10 a.m. session on Peacock. Here’s the breakdown (NLWC members are in bold):

57 kilograms: Spencer Lee vs. Thomas Gilman

65 kilograms: Zain Retherford vs. Nick Lee

74 kilograms: Kyle Dake vs. Jason Nolf

86 kilograms: David Taylor vs. Aaron Brooks

97 kilograms: Kyle Snyder vs. Isaac Trumble

The final weight class, 125 kilograms, does not feature a Nittany Lion in the championship bout. Former Michigan national champion Mason Parris will battle former North Dakota State All-American Hayden Zilmer in that best-of-three final.

“I’m ready to go. I got a good teammate to compete against, so I’m looking forward to it,” Nolf told PennLive.
