Shamar Rigby is part of a robust receiver group in Purdue’s Class of 2024, one of four wideouts in the unit. He’ll begin his Boilermaker career in late May along with fellow 2024 wideout Donovan Hamilton. The other two 2024 receivers enrolled early and went through spring drills: Jesse Watson and Tra’Mar Harris.

The 6-5, 170-pound Rigby, a product of Clearwater Central Catholic High in St. Petersburg, Fla., also had offers from Duke, South Florida, Kentucky and Minnesota, among others.

Rigby was a consensus three-star recruit, No. 73 in Florida, per On3.

Rigby helped lead his team to the state championship two consecutive years. As a senior, he tallied 39 receptions for 657 yards. As a junior, he caught 42 passes for 632 yards and eight touchdowns.
