South Carolina extends offer to 4-star Georgia commitment

On Tuesday night, South Carolina extended a scholarship offer to Georgia Bulldogs commitment Brady Marchese. Marchese, a 4-star wide receiver prospect in the class of 2026, is a product of Carterville High School in Cartersville, Georgia.
Marchese announced his commitment to Georgia back in March. At the time, he also was considering Georgia Tech, West Virginia, and Michigan.
The On3 industry ranking–a weighted composite of the rankings from On3, 247Sports, ESPN, and Rivals–considers Marchese the No. 336 overall recruit in the 2026 cycle. He is No. 40 in the state of Georgia. He’s also No. 52 among all wide receivers nationally.

Listed at 6-1 and 185 pounds, Marchese is a speed-first player who has logged 40-yard dash times in the 4.4s. However, he’s strong for his somewhat thin build, and that shows up on film in his after-the-catch efforts.

His speed is strengthened by above-average acceleration. Marchese gets to top speed quickly, and it doesn’t take much for him to leave defensive backs behind. There’s some wiggle to his game, as well. As one might expect, the talented pass-catcher runs track for Cartersville, too.
South Carolina will not take a large class of receivers in the 2026 cycle. The Gamecocks brought in six scholarship wideouts (and an intriguing walk-on) in the last class. USC also has two sophomores likely slated to play a lot of snaps at the position this fall.
One of the other wide receivers on Carolina’s board is another Georgia native. Considering South Carolina, Georgia, Nebraska, Alabama, and Texas A&M, Mosley is listed as an athlete by some in the recruiting industry (including On3), but his college future is expected to be at wide receiver.
