Pine Bluff (Ark.) four-star defensive lineman Charleston Collins revealed his top 12 schools on Wednesday afternoon and Texas A&M remains in the mix.

The four-star is considering OregonLSUOle MissMississippi StateMiamiTennesseeMichigan StateAlabama, ArkansasGeorgia and Florida State, in addition to the Aggies.

Collins was offered by the Aggies over the summer, but has yet to visit. He’s been in frequent contact with the staff, but has been in close communication with the staff and has previously told Aggie Scoop he plans to visit in the near future.

He made visits to Arkansas, Ole Miss and LSU this fall and the 6-foot-4, 257-pound prospect is trending towards the Tigers early on.

“It was a great feeling,” Collins told Billy Embody of The Bengal Tiger on June 7 about a visit to LSU. “Kind of anticipated it. Came to camp today, dominated and all went well. I’ve never been to LSU before so for it to be my first time here, got the offer, took a couple pictures and what not, everything was good. Definitely love the support system around here. Everybody here is family.”

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, LSU has a commanding lead for his commitment at 96.3% with three RPM picks for the Tigers. Collins has made three visits to Baton Rouge, most recently on Nov. 5.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Texas A&M currently holds two commits in the 2024 class in Katy (Tex.) Tompkins four-star offensive lineman Ashton Funk and Longview (Tex.) Pine Tree four-star defensive lineman Dealyn Evans. Collins has a similiar profile to Evans and would likely play a similiar role along the defensive line.

Collins ranks as the No. 248 prospect and the No. 20 defensive lineman accordign to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks even higher in the On300, as the No. 132 prospect and the No. 10 defensive lineman nationally. The four-star has an On3 NIL Valuation of $9.4K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
