2024 Little Rock (Ark.) Little Rock Christian Academy four-star quarterback Walker White received an offer from Texas A&M Thursday morning. He announced the news on Twitter.

White is the No. 165 overall prospect and No. 13 quarterback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Arkansas.

The 6-foot-3, 225-pound prospect holds 26 total offers. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has Ole Miss as the heavy favorite to land a commitment from White at 96.5% odds.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college. It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

To date, White has visited nine different schools for a total of 14 visits. With a new offer on the table from the Aggies, I would say a visit to College Station is something the staff will be trying to secure in the coming weeks for junior day visits.

White is Bobby Petrino’s first offer

White is the 12th quarterback the Aggies have offered in the 2024 class. However, this appears to be the first offer extended from new offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino. With Petrino now at the head of the offense, he may re-evaluate the offers sent out prior to his arrival.

The Aggies’ 2024 recruiting class contains three commits to date. The current pledges are Longview (Texas) Pine Tree four-star defensive lineman Dealyn Evans, Katy (Texas) Tompkins four-star interior offensive lineman Ashton Funk and Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton four-star wide receiver Debron Gatling.

White currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $21K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
