Deion Sanders praises Odell Beckham for postgame gesture

Deion Sanders took to social media on Monday to praise Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. for his postgame gesture towards San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel.
Beckham, a former All-Pro wide receiver who has reemerged since his signing with the Rams, stopped his celebration temporarily to console Samuel, a young star, after the Los Angeles Rams win over the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game Sunday night. The heartfelt moment was caught on camera and shared via social media.
Sanders posted a photo of the encounter on his Instagram, along with a caption that propped up Beckham and pushed back on his skeptics, of which there are plenty.
“This is the best photo I’ve witnessed all season,” Sanders said on Instagram. “One brother comforting another brother in a time of discomfort. The one that’s doing the comforting (Beckham) is supposed to be a team and quarterback killer that was written off by many. The one that’s being comforted (Samuel) has a future so bright I pray for him not to be blinded by it. The Bible says ‘How good and pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in UNITY!'”
Deebo Samuel, who joined Odell Beckham Jr in the elite group of All-Pro wide receivers this season – emerged as a versatile playmaker who helped carry the 49ers offense through the final weeks of the regular season and deep into the playoffs.
He finished the regular season with 121 receptions for 1,405 yards and six touchdowns, adding 59 rushes for 365 yards and eight touchdowns in his mixed role as a part-time running back. His electric speed and elusiveness, Samuel took the league by storm.

Odell Beckham Jr shares touching moment with mom following NFC title win
For the first time in his eight-year NFL career, Odell Beckham Jr. is heading to the Super Bowl, as the Los Angeles Rams emerged as NFC Champions with a win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
Beckham finished with a season-best performance on Sunday, catching nine of 11 targets for 113 receiving yards in a 20-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers. Ever since his midseason signing with the Rams, he’s slowly deveoped a steady role in the offense, and he’s now been targeted 23 times (catching 19 of those passes) throughout the 2021 NFL Playoffs, amassing 236 yards and one touchdown.
After Sunday night’s win, Beckham quickly took to the sidelines and found his mother, who he embraced after checking a career goal off his bucket list: clinching a Super Bowl ticket.
