***** Iowa vs Washington Game Thread*****

Dang it!

[Doctor Hawktagonapus]

Investigate this crew

[Iowameat]

You d let them score

[LetsGoHawks83]

F*CK off Washington.

Don't shake hands with these d-bags

[QChawks]

Of course

[Hawksfor3]

Dammitt.

[HawkBall23]

ALL of UW's points after their FG were REF ASSISTED.

21 points were ALL because of the refs. TWENTY ONE.

You can't make this shid up!

[85Bears]

Gosh 41-25 looks so much better, don’t let Iowa win 48-7 we aren’t a blue blood. F You

[BuschLatte06]

Who the hell celebrates that moment?

[HawkeyeFever]

Did the replay producers leave early?

[LetsGoHawks83]

A lot of tape to send on that garbage Crew

[2D]

Kirk won on the west coast in the regular season. It's a Christmas miracle. Great win.

[QChawks]

Passing D looks awful

[Heathen Raider]

Refs were crooked AF

[Wobmam Rulez!]

Who the hell celebrates that moment?

Losers

[uihawk82]

I hope we never see this ref crew again. When receiver and Dback feet get tangled it should be a no harm no call.

[SeenItAllBefore]

Hecklinski. Period.

[LetsGoHawks83]

I'm effing pissed and we won in convincing fashion.

Criminal level of officiating and dirt bag players and coaches for Washington. F off

[TRHawkeye28]

Score doesn't matter. If hawks go... 10-2.... An extra 6 points won't matter with playoff talks. But still the entire gifting points is just complete BS

[Phat Stax]

If I had a gun with two bullets and was in a room with Bin Laden, Toby, and that ref, I'd shoot that ref twice.

[Rambler Hawk]

They can celebrate that meaningless TD, we still kicked their a$$....

[Hawkfan_08*]

Can anyone explain where the flag was on Stevenson? I've watched it three times.

[LetsGoHawks83]

I still can't believe that Washington is allowed to body slam our RB after the play is blown dead in a SILENT stadium.

Effing BS

[HawkBall23]

You're not totally wrong, but how many of those yards given up were due to 'penalties'?

Final score does not even come close to reflecting how dominating of a victory this was for the Hawks tonight.

41-3 with a legit reffing crew; maybe even more Iowa points.

[Opie Oids]

Who the hell celebrates that moment?

Agreed. A few plays prior their receiver was posing after make a 1st down while trailing by 23 points.

[bdoss]

It wasn’t. He was tackling the QB as he threw the ball. It caused an errant pass. Absolutely terrible officiating!

[Amahawk]

I thought the end of the game was classless by Washington.

[AFM22]

[Nvhwk]

Thank God for the offense today that those defensive penalties didn’t kill us.

[HawkBall23]

I thought the end of the game was classless by Washington.

It started WAAAY before that, but everything after the post-whistle slam of Lawrence from Washington was complete bush league and would have seen them going home with busted up faces if this was a game played out on the streets.

Ref assisted, you have to be kidding. Our pass defense was pathetic. We gave up 320 passing yards most of which was with a second string QB.

[Hawk-A-Doodle-Doo]

Ol' Doodle is loathe to complain too loudly about officiating, win or lose. But holy hell, this crew joins the ignominious company of the 2006 Outback Bowl and 2005 Michigan officials.

Incompetent at best. Corrupt at worst.

Uh huh. You're right.

All those ghost PIs awarded to UW must have been just my imagination playing tricks on me.

[Driftless_Hawk]

What a great game. KF had the guys ready to go. Lester's best game of the season by far as a play caller and defense in the first half was elite.

Playoff talk is real in Iowa City

Absolutely no way Washington scores half their points with a competent highschool crew.

Our RB getting body slammed by 3 guys, that's a 1st down, rather than a punt. Most likely points for Iowa.

Then all the ref assisted drives.

I mean the d-lineman held all the way into the QB.... Roughing the passer.....

All put a damper on what should have been a really fun dominant victory.

FFF those refs and FF Washington's classless football program

[LetsGoHawks83]

Hope Washington gets curb stomped every game

[HawkBall23]

Can't believe we were worried about this game a few weeks ago.

This win was about as easy as the NIU and UNI games.

[Amahawk]

That last one sure was!
