You know how Saban was quoted as saying something to the effect that the game has changed to the point where even the best teams can't win with just a great defense and sometimes you have to just outscore the other team to win? Do you think that applies to PSU and means that the program might be regressing?

Anyone optimistic we can fix our offense in time for next year? Lose Dotson and likely Clifford; incoming talent at RB should help (WR too with Saunders, but he's not going to be Dotson overnight). What does our OL look like? Who is Franklin's sacrificial lamb this year?

Franklin’s fixation on big plays hurts this team.
Yep. Coulda got 3 on 2nd down and at least have a good shot on 3rd down. Why force the "big play" on your backup QB that has no game experience?

No. Not to the extent it needs to be fixed in order have any chance of competing for a B1G title. That should be the first goal. There is no way that will happen. I hope that I am so wrong that someone comes back and cites this post if and when the O is good enough for PSU to be in contention to win the B1G.

With RPO, doubt it.

The 15 yd. PF by Rutgres was Penn States best offensive play this game.

I know that I’m a traitorous scum, but I’m following this thread while watching the OSU game. The Bucks are up 35 to zip and Herbie is having more “be right backs” than Bob would with an unlimited line of credit in a Bangkok cat house.
Herbie creaming in his pants, no right backs.
