We offered 2029 recruit Captain Munnerlyn Jr. I love that Captain Sr. is openly advocating for his son to come here. A lot of dads who played in college understandably distance themselves publicly and say their son has to make his own decision. I get that. But I also dig that Cap has made it clear he wants his son here. Beamer was his position coach, and he was stoked that his son was offered by Beamer.

In lieu of going with a "Jr," I might have expected him to give his son a promotion. Major Munnerlyn has a nice ring to it.

Captain Sr was a guy who played much bigger than his size. Didn't hurt that was fast.

Makes you feel old when the children of players become players.

I’m wanting to think I remember him being listed at 5’8” sometimes. Still had an NFL career though.

Jr is up to #10 in the way-too-early 2029 rankings.
