Who's going to Northwestern?

A group of of us are planning to head to Evanston this fall, I was curious how the planning process is going? If you look at secondary ticket sites, they still have old Ryan Field as the seating chart for tickets... According to Northwestern's athletic page they don't even go on sale until August 1...

Still an outside possibility, although moving game to Friday night makes it a bit more difficult for the scheduling around work and other things. I think the excitement will be high for them.

Take the train from Chi town if you can. It's about a 1/2 mile walk (if memory serves) to get to the stadium. I equate the location of their stadium to having Beaver Stadium just off College Avenue.

I’m hoping to go. Will likely have a buddy with way more NLC points than me buy my tix when they eventually go on sale. Have been to several NW games in the past and like @psuro suggested, have always taken the train from downtown.

I was originally planning to go. PSU said tickets would be available in June. It's now almost August. Even though I have a ton of NLC points, I don't like my odds. The stadium capacity is 35,500. What are they going to give PSU? Maybe 2,000 max?

I made other plans. They'll be other away games at NW.

Kind of crazy that tickets haven’t been made available yet. Perhaps the new stadium won’t be ready in time.

There was an article about this and said the odds were good but wont make call till late August. if this is missed then their next game is Indiana. This impacts travel plans and making if Friday night even less sense. Not sure why they don't take conservative angle and leave games in old stadium on Saturdays. Then move when a surt thing but with a warning. On BIG camp preseason their coach seemed intent on the opening but seemed okay not having it for opening day.

Wait until one of the worker unions goes on strike just before critical final work is to be completed. It's Chicago Illinois....this is what they do.

Is there a Kalshi bet as to whether the PSU game is actually NW's new home opener?
