Countdown for the Hawkeyes first game….

Taking my Navy son's family including three grandson's, to opener. Have 6 grand kids in all and its on my "Bucket list" to take all six to Kinnick. This will finish it. Go Hawks.
Always excited for hawk football season and games.
I was waiting for an email or text alerting me that I could download my tickets. Alas, having not received any such thing, I went to my ticket account and found that my tickets were, in fact, ready. They're now in my Apple wallet, no thanks to the university ticket office.
Thanks, I tried that and they were there. Pretty poor job by the ticket office.
Remember … beers and pork burgers! Let me know what game you’re going to as I will be at all of them.
Got my single game tickets to the opener on Monday
My tickets had already been “received” in my ticket account when I posted, which I later found (thanks to DukeSlater). I just never received an email from the ticket office notifying me (as they had always done in years past).

In other news, there is a real actual college football game on ESPN tonight at 9PM, Idaho vs Cal Poly. FCS, but it will hold us over until the week 0 games tomorrow.
Only a smattering of FBS games this weekend. Will be interested in the USC game if they can cover the spread?
William & Mary - Villanova is a pretty sweet game going on right now.
Too bad that it looks like only a few hundred of the 6+ million people in the Philly metro area bothered to show up to watch the #7 Wildcats.
