'26 NLWC Golf event - State College

Kind of hard to have participated, or to give a report. From their web site:
"The NLWC Golf Outing being held at the Penn State Blue and White Courses on Aug. 28, 2026 is currently full, and registration is closed. However, it is possible that we may yet be able to add a foursome or some individual golfers. The NLWC invites you to participate in the NLWC Golf Tournament at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, 2026 at the Penn State Golf Courses in State College, PA. The tournament will be a 4-person scramble with play taking place on both the Blue and White Golf Courses. The Golf Classic has been one of the primary fundraising activities for the NLWC for the past 32 years, and we greatly appreciate your continued support."

I didn't see a single wrestler, or coach. And, every time I tried to start up a wrestling conversation, they just looked at me like, "Look, we're just here to play golf." It was like I was a couple of weeks early. Disappointing.
I’ve been to the golf event and attended practice for the past several years. It’s one of my favorite events of the year.

I’m all for the use of AI to do work for us , but designs like this really annoy me. A polished-looking design loses credibility with me when obviously fabricated photos are presented as reality.

I never thought I'd yearn for the days of cheesy Microsoft Clipart, and yet here we are....

It's been a 16-year happy hour and counting, albeit without continuous cheap beer.
To answer the original question, yes I and 3 friends attended. Didn't win, 4 back. I left without eating, HS football season starts tonight. The tournament was fun,it is always fun to talk to the wrestlers.
The people involved with making this event work are fantastic.
